ABSTRACT

The objective of the research studied focuses mainly on its evaluation of the curriculum of Bachelor of Arts B.E. 2538, department of religion and philosophy, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, in terms content, input, process, output and impact of the program. The constructed questionnaires were the tools used for this study. The samples consulted of 3 g administrators 49 lectures 132 students, 163 employers of practicing students. The data were analyzed by percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation.

The findings of result were as follows;

1. Concerning content evaluation, it was found that the management of the curriculum of Bachelor of Arts B.E. 2538, department of religion and philosophy, faculty of Buddhism, Mahachulalongkorn rajavidyalaya University, was appropriate and consistent with its philosophy, missions and objectives of the curriculum, on “much” level. The objectives were also clearly stated, applicable to working and everyday life and consistent with social demand and Buddhism monks’ behaviors.

2. Input: this has been found to be appropriate in little level for all aspects: lecturer, students and other factors supposing the leaning and leaching.

3. Process: this has also been found appropriate in “little” level for both the management of learning and teaching evaluation.

4. Output: this has been found to be more appropriate in “much” level for both desirable characteristics and general.

5. Impact: this has also been found to be appropriate in “high” level for desirable and general characteristic and employs satisfaction with the practicing students working.
