Lecturers and students’ satisfaction studies about the service of departments under Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campu

ABSTRACT

This research was to
(1) study lecturers’ and students’ satisfaction about the
service of departments under Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campus.

(2) compare lecturers’ and students’s satisfaction about the service of departments under Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima campus and

(3) compare students’s satisfaction about the service of departments under Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campus. The sample groups consisted of 256 lecturers and students from Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campus. Research tools were 2 copies of 5-rating scale questionnaires. Data analysis was done through completed computer programs. Frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one way ANOVA were used for statistic analysis.

The finding of the study were as follows:

1. Lecturers’ satisfaction about the service of departments under
Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campus was average. Nakhon Ratchasima Sangha Colleges got the highest point. Academic department and offices of Nakhon Ratchasima Campus came second. About Nakhon Ratchasima Sangha Colleges , certificate curriculum was most satisfied. Teachers’ instructional hours were satisfied second. According to academic department, disciplines and properness of library were most satisfied. Grouping of books and searching comfort came second. According to Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Campus, facility on cooperation with both external and internal departments was most satisfied. Services of meeting room were considered second.

2. According to satisfaction about the service of departments under
Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campus, lecturers’ and students’ average satisfaction about the service of departments under Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campus, showed a statistically significant difference at .05 level. According to separate consideration, students’ satisfaction about the service of departments under Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campus and academic affair showed a statistically significant difference at .05 level.

3. Students’ satisfaction about the service of departments under
Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campus, was average. According to each deaprtment, Nakhon Ratchasima Sangha Colleges got the highest point. Academic department and offices of Nakhon Ratchasima Campus came second. Students’ examination schedule, examination room, testing committees, disciplines and properness of library, library service and students’ information were second satisfied.

4. According to satisfaction about the service of academic departments under

Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Nakhon Ratchasima Campus, satisfaction of year 1-4 students showed a statistically significant difference at .05 level. According to each pair, there was no different satisfaction of year 1-4 students.

5. Satisfaction of students under the faculty of Buddhism, education, humanity and social sciences about the service showed a statistically significant difference at .05 level. However, according to each pair, there was no different satisfaction of students from the faculty of Buddhism, education, humanity and social sciences.
